1. Fiber morphology of reed pulp

(1) Fiber length: The fiber length of reed pulp and reed pulp is not shorter than that of hardwood pulp, especially the fiber length of reed pulp is much longer than that of hardwood such as eucalyptus and poplar

Pulp is similar to birch wood pulp, but still higher than birch wood pulp. "  

(2) Fiber width: The fiber width of reed pulp is larger than that of eucalyptus pulp, similar to that of poplar pulp, but slightly smaller than that of birch pulp. The width of reed pulp fibers is relatively small.

(3) Fiber uniformity: The fiber uniformity of hardwood pulp is better than that of reed pulp. The uniformity of fibers mainly affects the uniformity of papermaking. The more uniform the fibers, the better the uniformity of the paper.

(4) Non fiber cell content: Reed and harvested pulp have higher non fiber cell content, about 98%, 27%, and 50% higher than eucalyptus, birch, and poplar, respectively.

Overall, the fiber of reed pulp is very similar to that of broad-leaved wood, indicating that under suitable pulping conditions, reed pulp with high papermaking performance can be produced to replace broad-leaved wood pulp and produce various types of paper.

  

2. Application scope of reed pulp

As mentioned above, reed pulp (for ease of description, reed pulp is collectively referred to as reed pulp, the same below) is a relatively good non wood fiber raw material, unless the fiber cell content is higher than that of oak leaves

Other biological data are close to or exceed that of hardwood pulp. As long as it is a paper product that can use hardwood pulp, reed pulp can be used.

(3) Hand wipes, facial tissues, napkins, etc

(4) Baby diapers and women's sanitary napkins (filled with absorbent layer)

(5) There are mainly cigarette paper, tracing paper, electronic computer printing paper, release base paper, etc.

(7) Film plastic tableware base paper
